Terms of Service

Zupiq is an AI-powered learning platform designed to help users understand educational questions and concepts. The Services may allow users to capture, upload, type, or otherwise submit questions, images, diagrams, documents, and other learning materials and receive AI-generated explanations, solutions, diagrams, and related educational assistance.

Features may change, improve, or be removed as Zupiq develops.

You must be legally permitted to use the Services under the laws applicable to you. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement independently, you may use Zupiq only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

If you use Zupiq on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Some Zupiq features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information reasonably up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, protecting your login credentials, all activities performed through your account, and informing us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not sell, transfer, or provide unauthorized access to your Zupiq account. We may suspend or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect Zupiq, our users, or our Services.

Zupiq uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, solutions, diagrams, recommendations, and other educational content. Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. Zupiq does not guarantee that AI-generated content will always be correct, complete, current, appropriate for every educational curriculum, or free from mathematical or factual errors.

You should review and verify important answers before relying on them. Zupiq is intended to assist learning and understanding rather than replace teachers, textbooks, professional instruction, or independent thinking.

Zupiq is designed as a learning tool. You are responsible for using Zupiq in accordance with the rules of your school, university, examination provider, teacher, or other educational institution.

You must not use Zupiq to cheat during examinations or assessments where outside assistance is prohibited, circumvent academic integrity rules, misrepresent AI-generated work as your own when disclosure is required, or violate the rules of an educational institution.

Zupiq is not responsible for academic penalties or other consequences resulting from misuse of the Services.

You may submit content to Zupiq, including questions, text, photographs, screenshots, documents, diagrams, educational exercises, and prompts. You retain ownership of content you own.

By submitting content, you grant Zupiq a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the Services. You represent that you have the necessary rights or permission to submit the content you provide.

You agree not to misuse Zupiq. You may not use the Services to violate applicable laws or regulations, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, upload content you do not have permission to use, distribute malware or malicious code, attempt unauthorized access to Zupiq systems, interfere with the operation or security of the Services, circumvent usage limits or security mechanisms, scrape or automatically extract information without authorization, reverse engineer the Services, abuse or manipulate Zupiq's AI systems, or impersonate another person.

We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Zupiq may provide both free and paid features. Free accounts may be subject to limitations such as number of questions or scans, AI usage, available features, upload limits, learning history, and other usage restrictions. The limits and features applicable to each plan will be displayed within Zupiq and may change over time.

Certain Zupiq features may require a paid subscription. The price, billing period, included features, and applicable trial terms will be displayed before you purchase a subscription. Depending on your device or purchase method, subscriptions may be processed through third parties such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date. You are responsible for managing your subscription through the platform where you purchased it.

Zupiq may occasionally offer free trials, promotional pricing, discounts, or other offers. Eligibility and duration may vary. Unless otherwise stated, a paid subscription may automatically begin or renew when a free trial ends unless you cancel it before the applicable deadline. We may modify or discontinue promotional offers where permitted by law.

You may cancel your Zupiq subscription at any time. If you purchased your subscription through Apple or Google, cancellation must generally be completed through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Cancelling a subscription normally prevents future renewal. You may continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Deleting your Zupiq account does not necessarily cancel a subscription managed by a third-party app store.

Payments processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party payment provider are subject to that provider's applicable refund policies. Where Zupiq processes a payment directly, refund eligibility will be determined according to applicable law and the terms presented at the time of purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Except for user-submitted content and third-party materials, Zupiq and its Services — including its software, design, interface, branding, logos, graphics, technology, and related materials — are owned by or licensed to Zupiq and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms provide you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Zupiq for its intended purposes. They do not transfer ownership of Zupiq's intellectual property to you.

If you provide ideas, suggestions, feedback, or recommendations regarding Zupiq, you permit us to use that feedback to develop and improve our Services without an obligation to compensate you. This does not give us ownership of your unrelated content or personal information.

Your use of Zupiq is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and share information when you use the Services. By using Zupiq, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review our Privacy Policy.

Zupiq may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including artificial intelligence providers, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication services, analytics providers, subscription management providers, the Apple App Store, and Google Play.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for independent third-party services that we do not control.

We work to keep Zupiq reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, network problems, infrastructure failures, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Zupiq if we reasonably determine that you materially violated these Terms, your account creates a security risk, your activity could harm other users or the Services, your use is fraudulent or abusive, or we are legally required to do so.

Where appropriate and legally required, we may provide notice before taking action. You may stop using Zupiq at any time and may request deletion of your account through available account settings or by contacting us.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zupiq is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every particular purpose. AI-generated answers may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zupiq and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Zupiq will continue to evolve. We may add, modify, replace, or discontinue features, functionality, usage limits, AI models, subscription plans, or other aspects of the Services. If a change materially affects a paid service, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to Zupiq, our business practices, or applicable laws. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the application, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating Zupiq, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. You may also have rights under the laws of the country or region where you live that cannot be waived by these Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific Zupiq features or purchases, constitute the agreement between you and Zupiq regarding your use of the Services.
