Zupiq ("Zupiq," "we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered learning platform designed to help users understand and solve educational problems. When you use Zupiq's learning features, you may provide photos of questions or exercises, images uploaded from your device, text questions and prompts, diagrams, documents or other supported learning materials, follow-up questions, and your interactions with generated explanations and answers. We process this content to understand your question and provide relevant explanations, solutions, diagrams, and other learning assistance.
Camera and Photo Access
Zupiq may request access to your device's camera or photo library so you can capture or upload learning materials. Camera and photo access is used only when necessary to provide features you choose to use. You can manage these permissions through your device settings.
Usage and Technical Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information when you use Zupiq, including device type, operating system and app version, language and general device settings, IP address, app interactions and feature usage, crash and diagnostic information, performance information, and approximate location derived from technical information where applicable.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase a Zupiq subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider, payments are processed by the applicable provider. Zupiq generally does not receive your complete credit or debit card information. We may receive information about your subscription status, product or plan purchased, purchase or transaction identifier, and renewal or expiration status.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through Zupiq to provide and operate the Services, analyze questions and learning materials, generate explanations and educational responses, maintain your account, save learning history when enabled, personalize and improve the learning experience, process and verify subscription access, improve accuracy and performance, diagnose technical problems, protect against fraud and security threats, provide customer support, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Zupiq uses artificial intelligence to analyze learning materials and generate educational responses. When you submit a question, image, document, diagram, or prompt, relevant content may be processed by our systems or AI service providers to generate a response.
We seek to limit information sent to service providers to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality.
AI-generated responses may contain errors. Zupiq should be used as a learning aid, and important answers should be independently verified where appropriate.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Zupiq, including providers of cloud hosting and data storage, artificial intelligence and machine-learning services, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, subscription and payment management, customer support, and security and fraud prevention.

5. Data Retention

When information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymize it.

You may request deletion of your Zupiq account and associated personal information. Where available, account deletion can be initiated directly through the Zupiq application.
After receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable personal information unless retention is required for legal, security, or other legitimate purposes.
Deleting your Zupiq account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription managed by Apple or Google. Subscriptions should also be cancelled through the provider through which they were purchased.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. However, no online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
